Privacy Statement
Grexx is the trading name of GLUH B.V., an innovative Information Technology company established in 2000 in the Netherlands (Dutch Chamber of Commerce registration number: 320.770.04). The Grexx HQ Office is located in Naarden, Netherlands.
Grexx is a 100% subsidiary of GREXX N.V. (Dutch Chamber of Commerce registration number: 320.775.81). Grexx N.V. is also located in Naarden, Netherlands.
Personal data that we process
Grexx processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide it to us yourself. Below is an overview of the personal data that we process:
- First and last name
- E-mail address
- IP address
- Information about your activity on our website
Special and/or sensitive personal data that we process
Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data of website visitors who are under 16 years of age, unless they have permission from their parents or guardians. However, we cannot check whether a visitor is older than 16. We therefore advise parents to be involved in their children's online activities to avoid having children’s data collected without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal data about a minor without such consent, please contact us via privacy-office@grexx.net and we will delete this information.
For what purpose and on what basis we process personal data
Grexx processes your personal data for the following purposes:
- Allowing you to create a free account
- Contacting you to assist you with your free account and/or help you how to continue/stop using our service
- Contacting you if you have requested it by filling in one of the forms on our website
- Sending our newsletter on your request
Automated decision making
Grexx does not make any decisions based on automated processing about matters that could (significantly) affect individual persons. This concerns decisions that are made by computer programmes or systems, without a person (e.g. an employee of Grexx) being involved.
How long do we keep personal data
Grexx retains your personal data for no longer than is strictly necessary to realise the purposes for which your data are collected; thereafter, a data retention period of 30 days is applied.
Sharing personal data with third parties
Grexx does not sell your data to third parties and only provides it if necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with legal obligations. We have processor agreements with companies that process your data on our behalf to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. Grexx remains responsible for this processing.
Cookies, or similar techniques, that we use
The Grexx website uses only technical and functional cookies, which do not invade your privacy. A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your computer, tablet or smartphone the first time you visit this website. The cookies that we use are necessary for the technical functioning of the website and your ease of use. They ensure that the website works properly and, for example, remembers your language setting. You can opt out of cookies by setting your internet browser to stop storing cookies. In addition, you can also delete any information previously stored in cookies via your browser settings.
Viewing, adjusting or deleting data
You have the right to view, correct, or delete your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw your eventual consent to data processing or object to the processing of your personal data by Grexx, and you have the right to data portability. This means that you can request us to send the personal data we have to you or to another organisation named by you. You can send a request for inspection, correction, deletion, data transfer of your personal data, withdrawal of your consent, or objection to the processing of your personal data to: privacy-office@grexx.net.
To ensure that the request is made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your legal proof of identity with the request. In this copy, please black out your photo, the MRZ (machine readable zone: the strip of letters/numbers at the bottom of the card), as well as the passport number or Citizen Service Number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, within four weeks. Grexx would also like to point out that you have the option of submitting a complaint to the national regulator, the Dutch Data Protection Authority. How we secure personal data
Grexx takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to counter abuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised modification. If you have the impression that your data is not properly secured or there are indications of misuse, please contact our Privacy Office via privacy-office@grexx.net.
