Be careful what you 'feed' ChatGPT.

Whereas AI used to be a term you only encountered in IT environments, tools like ChatGPT and Midjourney have now reached the general public.

Artificial Intelligence is booming. Whereas AI used to be a term you only encountered in IT, tools like ChatGPT and Midjourney have now reached the general public; understandable with ChatGPT bringing AI to the market in a tremendously approachable way.

Of course, at Grexx, we are extremely excited to see these new developments, but we also see potential dangers. Countries are already examining at the privacy aspects of ChatGPT and similar systems:

Beware of copyright and privacy.

Because the system trains with all the data it captures, there is a risk that anything you "feed" to ChatGPT could potentially be used in ways that may not align with your wishes. This issue has already arisen with GitHub CoPilot, which "generated" copyrighted code:

While a tool like ChatGPT can help in working smarter and more efficiently, also in combination with Grexx Platform, it is also important to consider the potential consequences. At Grexx, we have seen the benefits of using ChatGPT with our platform for both clients. However, we believe it is important to comment on this.

Our advice: make sure to play and experiment with these tools. Use them when you see a purpose especially where public data where there is often no problem at all. But be very cautious when using privacy-sensitive or business-critical data. Do not feed ChatGPT data that you wouldn’t post on Twitter or any other public medium.

Safe experimentation.

We love experimenting with new techniques, such as Machine Learning and other forms of AI. Of course, this is possible for us because we have our own shielded cloud environment, where we can work with privacy-sensitive data without the risk of prying eyes.

Are you looking for a safe place to test AI advances? At Grexx are always open to partners or customers who wish to collaborate and experiment. You will have access to our technical knowledge, tools, and experience. We also enjoying hearing about application 'in real life'. Feel free to contact us if you have any ideas!
